Event Photography
That Shows Up
Corporate gatherings, community functions, and private celebrations covered with a presence that blends into the room. Whether you need a fly-on-the-wall or someone directing key moments — or both — the coverage is built around your event, not a standard template.
The Approach
Candid, Alive,
and Real.
Event coverage works best when the photographer is part of the environment, not a distraction from it. The approach is candid-first — capturing the energy, the conversations, the moments between the official program — with directed shots layered in for the images that need to be intentional.
Every event engagement begins with a consultation covering the event schedule, priority moments, delivery format, and any organizational requirements. The result is coverage that documents the occasion completely and delivers images that are actually useful.

Common Questions
Event Coverage FAQ
How far in advance do you need to be booked for an event?
Two to four weeks is the general minimum. For larger or more complex events, earlier is better — especially if the event requires any specific access arrangements, multi-photographer coordination, or equipment planning. Reach out as soon as the date is confirmed.
Do you shoot the full event or just specific moments?
Both approaches are available depending on your needs. Full-event coverage documents the arrival, atmosphere, program, and candid moments throughout. Focused coverage concentrates on specific segments — a keynote, a ceremony, an awards presentation. The consultation establishes which approach fits the occasion.
How are the images delivered?
Via a private online gallery within the agreed turnaround window. Corporate and organizational clients can request a specific delivery format or platform if the images need to integrate directly into an existing workflow.
Is there a travel fee for events outside Lake County or Kenosha County?
Events within Lake County, IL and Kenosha County, WI are covered without a travel surcharge. Events outside that range are assessed based on distance and logistics. Mention the location at inquiry and it will be factored into the quote.
Can we get a mix of candid and posed images at the event?
Yes. Most events benefit from both — candid coverage that captures the energy of the room and directed group or individual shots for organizational use. The shot list built during consultation balances the two based on your priorities.
