Giving Back
Community
Photography is a skill that is useful to people who cannot always pay for it. The community work is where that obligation gets met — through events, volunteer sessions, and documentary coverage of local stories.
Why This Matters
Beyond the
Studio.
The client practice funds the community work — not the other way around. That distinction matters because it keeps the community work honest. It is not marketing disguised as giving back. It is actual giving back, done when it is needed, for the people who need it.
Lake County is a community with stories that do not always reach a wide audience. Organizations doing important work often have no imagery to show for it. Events that matter to the people who attend them often go undocumented. The community practice exists to change that, one session or coverage at a time.
If you represent a nonprofit, a community organization, or a local cause and want to discuss what kind of photography support we can offer, reach out. The answer is almost always yes.
