Sessions take place on location throughout Lake County, IL and Kenosha County, WI. Whether that is a lakefront at golden hour, a downtown block with real texture, or a location that belongs specifically to your relationship — the setting is chosen with intention, not convenience.

Engagement Sessions

Anniversary Sessions

Couples Session FAQ
Do you shoot engagement sessions?
Yes. Engagement sessions are one of the most common couples bookings. They also serve as a practical way to get comfortable in front of the camera before a wedding. The images work well for announcements, save-the-dates, and just as standalone memories.
What if we are not photogenic?
Nobody is "photogenic" or not — that idea usually comes from one bad photo taken at the wrong moment. Direction during the session is specific and relaxed. The goal is to capture how you two actually are together, not a performance of it.
Can we shoot at a meaningful location?
Absolutely. Where you first met, where you got engaged, a neighborhood that belongs to your relationship — these kinds of locations make the images more specific and more yours. Bring it up in the consultation and we will make it work.
How far in advance should we book?
Two to four weeks is typical. For spring and fall sessions, or if you need a very specific date, earlier is better. Engagement sessions before a wedding benefit from booking as soon as the wedding is confirmed.
Are pets allowed?
Yes. If your dog is part of the relationship, your dog can be part of the session. Outdoor locations work best for this. Mention it during booking so we account for it in the session plan.
